How to Create Coupons and Discounts

Learn how to create and activate coupons on your Reservety rental website. This guide covers setting up coupon codes, configuring percentage or fixed discounts, setting expiry dates and usage limits, and testing the coupon on your storefront.

Step-by-step guide

Click on Coupons from the submenu.

Click the Add new coupon button to create a new coupon.

Enter your coupon code in the Coupon code field (e.g., "spring").

Add a description for the coupon (e.g., "40% off for all March orders").

Click the Discount type dropdown and select Percentage discount (or Fixed cart/product discount).

Enter the discount amount in the Coupon amount field (e.g., "40" for 40%).

Set the Coupon expiry date by clicking the date field and selecting the last valid date.

Click Usage restriction in the left sidebar to set spending limits. Enter minimum and maximum spend amounts.

Check Individual use only to prevent this coupon from being combined with other coupons.

Click the Usage limits tab to set how many times the coupon can be used.

Set the Usage limit per user to control how many times each customer can use this coupon.

Click Publish to make the coupon active on your website.

To test the coupon, visit your storefront and select a product.

Select your booking dates and click BOOK, then click VIEW CART.

Enter the coupon code in the coupon field and click APPLY COUPON. Verify the discount appears correctly in the Cart Totals.
