Keyhole Escape Rooms runs four rooms in Columbus, Ohio, with a game starting every 75 minutes from noon and team-building groups on weekday afternoons. Here is how a day like theirs runs on Reservety.

A room and a time on your own website. Paid per player.

A ticketing site takes a fee on every player, and the group’s emails stay with it.

Each room has its game times. The group picks the room and the time, adds its players at your price per player, with a cheaper ticket for children if you sell one, and pays the whole game or a deposit online; that slot is then gone for everyone else. They book on your website, so the booking, the payment and the customer stay with you.

Every room and every game on one screen.

The day’s games live in three tabs and a whiteboard, and two groups end up booked into the same room.

The Booking Schedule shows the day by the hour, a line for each room and every booking on it, paid or with money still due. Each room can keep time free after every game, 15 minutes to reset the puzzles say, and the calendar shows it as taken, so nobody books into the reset.

Every player signs the waiver before the game.

Ten minutes of every hour go on clipboards at the door, and the player who skipped the waiver is already inside.

The person who booked gets one link for the whole group. Each player opens it on their phone and signs, and the booking counts who has signed. Before the game, the reminder names anyone who still owes a waiver, and every signed waiver stays on the booking. Our team switches this on for you and writes your waiver in.

Check the group in at the door.

Someone stands at the door with a printout, crossing names off.

Event check-in lists the day’s games. Pick the game, scan the booking’s code or type it, and tick each player in; the count shows how many have arrived. A group running late moves to a later game with one button.

Gift cards, partner codes and store credit.

Gift cards are paper, partner deals live in a spreadsheet, and nobody knows which code was used where.

Give each partner its own code, a hotel or a company’s team-building day, and see how many times it was used and on which orders. Gift cards and store credit pay at checkout like money, so a group can book its game with the gift card someone got for a birthday.

Do players need an app or an account?

No. They book from your website and pay by card, and the waiver link works on any phone without an account.

Can I charge per player?

Yes. The game has a price per player, so a group of six pays six times your rate. You can take a deposit when they book and the rest at the door.

Can I keep time between games to reset the room?

Yes. Each room can keep a gap before and after every game. The calendar shows it as taken, so nobody books into the reset.

Can every player sign the waiver before they arrive?

Yes. The person who booked shares one link with the group, each player signs on their own phone, and the booking shows who has signed. The reminder before the game names anyone who hasn’t.

Can I sell gift cards and give partners a code?

Yes. Gift cards and store credit pay at checkout, and each partner can have its own code with its own discount, so you see what each one brings in.

No. Reservety is $59 a month on Starter or $99 on Professional, with no commission and no fee per player.

Can I run a mobile escape room?

Yes. A mobile room books like a party rental: the date and time, the customer’s address, a delivery fee by distance, and the waiver signed before you arrive.
