How to Block or Remove Specific Dates

Learn how to block or remove specific dates from your Reservety online booking system. This is useful if you want to make certain days, such as Fridays, unavailable for booking.

Step-by-step guide

Click on Settings in the left sidebar.

Click on Date Ranges. If you want to block Fridays each week, you'll create a date range that includes Fridays.

Click on Add New Date Range.

In the Add title field, type your title. In this example, we titled it "Fridays".

Click the Range Type dropdown. You have three choices: Dates, Times, or Weekdays.

Select Weekdays because we want to block Fridays each week.

Click the Select dropdown under Week Days.

Click on Friday. You can select any other days you want to block as well.

Click the Publish button.

Under Settings, click on Rentals.

Click on Advanced Dates.

In the Global Disabled Dates section, click the Add Global Disabled Date button.

Click the Select dropdown under the Date column. Choose the date range you created (e.g., "Fridays").

Click the Select dropdown under the Product column to choose which product to apply the blocked dates to. You can also select an entire category.

Select the product you want to apply the blocked dates to. In this example, we selected 7x14 Dump Trailer.

Click the Update button to save your changes.

Click on the product to see the blocked dates in action. In this case, the 7x14 Dump Trailer.

Click the calendar icon for Booking Starts to try booking on a Friday.

As you can see, the dump trailer is now blocked for Fridays across all months. Customers cannot select these dates for booking.
