Add Your First Rental Product

Learn how to add your first rental product to your website, including setting up product details, images, categories, pricing options, inventory, and calendar settings for a seamless rental experience.

Step-by-step guide

Step 1: Navigate to Products > All Items

Click Add New Product and enter your product name.

Step 2: Click Add New Product and name it

Write your product description. Unless you are copying and pasting code, we recommend using the Visual tab.

In the Product categories section, select the relevant category.

Click Set product image.

Choose the primary image for your product.

Click Add product gallery images.

Select multiple images and click the Add to gallery button.

Step 8: Select images and add to gallery

Click the Add Pricing button.

Enter the price and period. For example, to charge $50 for 4 hours, write 4h in the Period field and 50 in the Price field. No dollar sign needed.

Click the Add Pricing button again to enter additional pricing tiers.

To charge $70 per day, type 1d in the Period field and 70 in the Price field. You can add as many pricing options as you need.

Click on Inventory.

Click the Track stock quantity for this product checkbox.

Enter your available quantity. This number should reflect how many units you have available to avoid overbookings.

Click on Turnover Padding Min Max.

Click the toggle to set Use Default Type to No.

Select Start and End Date and Time from the dropdown. This calendar type lets customers pick both a start and end date with specific times.

Step 18: Select Start and End Date and Time

Click the Publish button to save and publish your product.

Click View product to see your listing on the website. Verify that the title, pricing, and description are all displayed correctly.

Test the booking system to ensure it calculates pricing accurately. Select a date range and verify the total matches your pricing tiers.
