How many place settings should I order?

Order 5-10% more than your guest count. For 100 guests, order 105-110 place settings. This covers last-minute RSVPs, plus a few extras in case of chips or drops during the event. Your rental company may charge less for the extras since they expect some back in perfect condition.

What is included in a formal place setting?

A formal place setting includes: a charger plate (optional), dinner plate, salad plate, bread plate, dinner fork, salad fork, dinner knife, butter knife, soup or dessert spoon, water glass, wine glass, and a cloth napkin. Not every event needs all of these, but a formal wedding or gala typically uses the full set.

Do I need charger plates?
