Frequently Asked Questions

How much space do I need around a bounce house?
You need at least 3 feet of clear space on all sides of the inflatable (6 feet total added to each dimension). This is a safety requirement, not just a suggestion. The clearance zone allows kids to exit safely and gives the blower room to operate. Some cities require even more clearance, so check local codes.
Can I put a bounce house under trees?
Only if there is enough clearance above the inflatable. You need at least 3 feet of open space above the highest point of the unit. Low-hanging branches can puncture inflatables and injure children. Also avoid setting up near overhead power lines, which is extremely dangerous.
Does the ground need to be flat?
Yes. Inflatables must be set up on flat, level ground. A slope of more than a few inches can cause the unit to shift or tip, especially with active children inside. Grass is the ideal surface. Concrete and asphalt work but require sandbag anchoring instead of stakes. Avoid gravel, rocks, and uneven terrain.
