Each float is a page with its van times and its boats. One fleet count serves every float, the waiver goes to the whole group, high water closes the river with one setting, and the floats already booked move to another day. Your website is included.

Cedar Hollow Canoe Rental is our test outfitter on the Jacks Fork in Eminence, Missouri: 24 canoes, 20 kayaks, 8 double kayaks and 40 tubes, three floats that end at the outpost, and a van to the put-in at 8:30 and noon. It follows how a real outfitter on Reservety sells its floats. Every screen below comes from it, in October.
01
Every caller asks which float, which van and how many boats, and somebody writes it on a clipboard.
Each float is its own page: river miles, float time, the take-out at your outpost. The guest picks the van to the put-in, then the boats by count, canoes $55 for the day, kayaks $40, and how many paddlers are under 13 so their life jackets go on the van. A canoe and two kayaks on the 8:30 van: $135.

02
Locals bring their own kayaks and only need the car moved to the take-out, and that never makes it into the books.
The same page sells the shuttle on its own: the car driven to the take-out for $35, the boats hauled to the put-in on the van trailer for $20 each. Two kayaks hauled and the car moved, on the noon van: $75.

Overnight floats are priced by hand: a day rate, then an extra-day fee per boat.
Rock Ford is a two-day float with a night on a gravel bar. Its boats are priced for both days: a canoe $95, a kayak $70, a double kayak $85, and the float’s two days are fixed, so nobody books it as a day trip.

A canoe sent down Mill Creek is still on the whiteboard for Shut-In Bluff.
Every float takes its boats from the same count, and so do the boats dropped at a cabin. Saturday the 10th: 4 canoes out and 20 free, 6 kayaks out and 14 free, 11 tubes out and 29 free, with the names of the groups that have them.

Cabin guests want kayaks by the porch, and the delivery fee is a guess on the phone.
Boats at Your Cabin is its own page, a day or two days, with the boats from the same fleet. At checkout the cabin’s address prices the drop-off and the 6 pm pickup from the road miles between the outpost and the cabin: $2 a mile, $20 at least, up to 35 miles. Hawk Ridge Cabins on Highway 19 is 14 miles: two kayaks for Saturday the 24th, $80, and the delivery $28. The floats never offer a delivery; their guests come to the outpost.

Twelve waivers on clipboards at the van, and one teenager’s signature missing.
The waiver is a group document. Kevin signed at booking, Jenna and Max from the shared link, and the booking shows Signed (3) with “Add a signature” for the next one. The link opens the waiver for a new name; every signature lands on the same booking.

After a storm the river is closed, and the website keeps selling the weekend.
One closure in the settings, “High water — river closed”, for the float trips: no float can start on those days. Every float’s calendar closes Saturday the 17th and Sunday the 18th at once.

Rain checks live on index cards, and half of them are never used.
The Kellys had two canoes on the 17th. On the booking timeline the office moves their float to Saturday the 24th: same boats, same van, the order total unchanged. Your policy is no refunds, a rain check good all season; moving the float is the rain check.

The store register and the booking system don’t talk, and a walk-in gets two kayaks that are already on the river.
A walk-in takes two kayaks on the noon van and buys ice, a dry bag and sodas in the same sale, and the kayaks come off Saturday’s count at once. Today the float is booked online or by the office, and the store sells separately.

The noon van is the youth group, and nobody knows whether one more family fits until the driver counts heads in the lot.
Every put-in and van time, the paddlers riding the van of its fifteen seats and the boats on its trailer, weekend by weekend. Saturday the 10th the noon van to Mill Creek has 14 of 15 seats taken: one more paddler fits, a family doesn’t. The 17th and 18th are closed for high water, with the Simmons float still to move. The platform counts the boats against one fleet (row 04).

Most outfitters have a price list on Facebook and a phone that rings all Saturday.
We build it in your name: every float with its miles and van times, the boats and their prices, shuttle only, the river rules and your rain-check policy. Every Book button opens the real float page. Hosting is included.
Cedar Hollow, the test outfitter. Yours looks like yours.
Cedar Hollow Canoe Rental is a test outfitter we built for this page; the guests’ names are made up, the phone numbers don’t exist and the photos are generated. Every screen not marked * is the system, with the test outfitter’s October run through it. The road miles on the cabin checkout are a stand-in: the test box has no Google Maps key, so the distance for that address is set by hand; the rate by the mile, the rounding and the price are the system’s own.
* In beta testing.
