How to Edit Homepage
Reservety homepage is built with elementor which uses sections, columns, and elements to create a design. Follow the tutorial below to start editing your homepage.
1. Go to Home Page
Go to website designer > website pages> home > edit with elementor
2. Adding/ Editing a section
To add a section, click on the + icon on the top of any section, then choose the number of columns you want to add in a section.
Editing Section: Right Click on the top and click edit to reveal section setting on the left panel. From the section setting, you can change the section layout like height, width, and alignment.
From the style tab, you can add a background, border, shape divider and
From advanced settings, you can set up margins and paddings.
To Remove a section click the X icon on the top.
3. Editing Columns
The section is compromised of 1 or more columns. By columns, you can adjust text and elements within a section and create variable layouts.
To edit a column, right-click on the top-left of any section and click on edit to see column settings. A section can have more than 1 column, like in this example, we have 2 columns. Next, we can adjust padding and margin from here or just place a background image or put a specific color in this column from the settings on the left panel.
To remove a column right-click on the column icon from top-left and click on the delete option
4. Editing Text
To edit text, click on the text or right-click the pen icon on the top-right.
From the left panel, edit the text and alignment from the content tab.
From style tab: Choose fonts, text size, and text color
Advanced Tab: Adjust padding and margins, border, and background
Removing Text: Right-click on the top-right icon and click delete
5. Editing Image
Edit Image: click on the top-right and right-click the pen icon and the click edit image to reveal settings on the left panel
Content tab: click in the center of choose image and upload your new picture. change image size, alignment or add a link from settings down below.
From style tab: Change the height, width, border, border-radius, and more
Advanced Tab: Adjust padding and margins, border, and more
Removing Image: Right-click on the top-right icon and click delete option
6. Editing Elements
Edit Element: To edit any element click on the top-right pen icon and click on the edit option
Example: To edit this form and remove the field
Remove from the field: click on the top-right and right-click the pen icon to reveal settings on the left panel and then click the X icon
Adjust design: To adjust design like color, border, size click on the style tab and make changes
Advanced Tab: Adjust padding and margins, border, and more
Deleting Element: To remove any element right-click on it then select the delete option
7. Adding New Element
Adding Element: To add an element for example Image, text, form, title, review, testimonial. First, click the icon on the top-right of the panel. And then search the element required. Drag and drop the element in any section or column.
8. Save Changes
To save changes click on the green Update button on bottom left
